I'm Back Again

I can't say just what I was doing, but I was involved in the situation in southern Texas with the thousands of unaccompanied minor children (UACs) from South America.  I can't and won't discuss the issue except to say that it is a tragedy for the children and a looming crisis for our nation and it was and is preventable.

I won't be posting much, at least for a while.  The extremely long hours I worked, combined with my advancing age and decades of bad habits, plus a dose of strep throat and pneumonia forced me to wimp out and come home.  So I'm sleeping a lot and generally being very, very lazy.
