How Did American Fascists Come To Be Called Liberals

Have you ever tried to reason with a liberal?  Don't, you can ignore them, if you can, or you can assault them.

And why are they called liberals?

Here is Websters online definition:
1 the quality or state of being liberal

a often capitalized : a movement in modern Protestantism emphasizing intellectual liberty and the spiritual and ethical content of Christianity
b : a theory in economics emphasizing individual freedom from restraint and usually based on free competition, the self-regulating market, and the gold standard
c : a political philosophy based on belief in progress, the essential goodness of the human race, and the autonomy of the individual and standing for the protection of political and civil liberties; specifically : such a philosophy that considers government as a crucial instrument for amelioration of social inequities (as those involving race, gender, or class)
Does that sound like any liberal you have ever known, except for the very last sentence?
Here is Websters online definition fascism:

1.  a political philosophy, movement, or regime (as that of the Fascisti) that exalts nation and often race above the individual and that stands for a centralized autocratic government headed by a dictatorial leader, severe economic and social regimentation, and forcible suppression of opposition

2: a tendency toward or actual exercise of strong autocratic or dictatorial control <early instances of army fascism and brutality — J. W. Aldridge>
Now which of the above definitions most closely resembles the liberals you know?  Yeah, yeah, they aren't nationalists, and they aren't racial supremacists in the traditional sense, but they imply racial supremacy by presuming to be the defenders and custodians of the black race who no longer need such advocacy.

American liberals are in fact left-wing fascists.  However, this form of fascism is far more dangerous than traditional fascism because of it's ability cloak itself as an altruistic entity defending the rights of minorities, the poor, unions, gays, and religion (as long as its not Christianity), and championing such high-minded sounding, but damaging causes such as multiculturalism, sexual freedom, and freedom of choice.  And thereby gathers support from the good-hearted, but simple-minded (of which, there are many millions, based on the last election).
They won't even consider an alternative perspective.  Oh, they might listen, but they won't seriously think about it, in fact they don't even think for themselves; they get their lead and talking points from their favorite media talking head, or from Whoopi Goldberg on "The View", and that's that.  They don't think, they "feel".  But, ask the average liberal to debate any given issue and they will either spout the latest liberal talking points verbatim, change the subject, or start attacking conservatives.
Liberals use language as a weapon and with the connivance of the leftist media, it is a powerful weapon used to control the agenda and intimidate conservatives.  It's called "political correctness", and it's used to distort issues, obscure or hide the intent of leftist agendas, and direct opinion.  To quote John Hollander :  "The main problem with political correctness is that the concept itself is both irrational and diametrically opposed to the Western notion of free speech."   It doesn't matter that Obama, is the worst President in US history, to say so makes you a bigot.

Here are quotes from Thomas Sowell on the subject of liberals and their favorite themes:

“Liberalism is totalitarianism with a human face”

“Liberals seem to assume that, if you don't believe in their particular political solutions, then you don't really care about the people that they claim to want to help”

"If you have always believed that everyone should play by the same rules and be judged by the same standards, that would have gotten you labeled a radical 60 years ago, a liberal 30 years ago and a racist today."

“What "multiculturalism" boils down to is that you can praise any culture in the world except Western culture - and you cannot blame any culture in the world except Western culture”

"The problem isn't that Johnny can't read. The problem isn't even that Johnny can't think. The problem is that Johnny doesn't know what thinking is; he confuses it with feeling."

"The words games of the left — from the mantra of "diversity" to the pieties of "compassion" — are not just games. They are ways of imposing power by evading issues of substance through the use of seductive rhetoric."

“Most people who read "The Communist Manifesto" probably have no idea that it was written by a couple of young men who had never worked a day in their lives, and who nevertheless spoke boldly in the name of "the workers".”

“The assumption that spending more of the taxpayer's money will make things better has survived all kinds of evidence that it has made things worse. The black family- which survived slavery, discrimination, poverty, wars and depressions- began to come apart as the federal government moved in with its well-financed programs to "help."

"The essence of bigotry is denying other people the same free choices you have. Many of those who call themselves environmentalists could more accurately be called green bigots."
