Spectacular Liberal Stupidity

From Real Clear Politics

Congressman Jim McDermott:  "This whole society is gradually changing in response to what’s going on. Now, we’re in a very difficult period right now, because we have a lot of people who suddenly think it’s all about me. And it isn’t about me; it’s about we. If we don’t take care of one another, and we say everybody’s on their own, then it will simply fall apart as a society: become a mob scene, as it was in Paris if you go see Les Misérables. You can see what the country can become, if you don’t have equity in the society. I don’t want that. I want people to be able to have a peaceful life. And I think our system will work."
Congressman McDermott certainly supports my theory that liberalism is a mental disorder.

Liberals constantly create problems, and when these problems eventually manifest themselves to the point that even a liberal understands there is a problem, they can't recognize it as their own creation.

When you create a "Nanny State" and discourage individualism and the idea of individual responsibility and self reliance, you create a society who think it is all about "me".  Government spoiling citizens works the same as parents spoiling children.

Give someone whatever they want, don't hold them accountable, constantly tell them they are special, and you get people who only care about themselves.
