Reverse Gun Control?
The town of Nelson, Georgia is considering an ordinance requiring every homeowner in town own a gun or break the law. One resident says Lamar says "This is big government at its worst. Government mandating what a free individual can and will have in his home." He isn't opposed to having guns, just having the government tell him he has to do it.
I agree with Lamar, I don't want government telling me I can't have a gun or making me have one. What's your take?

Like the polar opposite stuff proposed by the lefty loons, it's purely emotion-based. My initial reaction was, "There you go!" My rational thoughts on it are more along the lines of, "You can't do that; it's unconstitutional."
ReplyDeleteIt would do far more to curb crime than any of the feel good crap that the left has come up with, but again, it represents the exact type of government intrusion that is despicable at every level.
