American liberals, communists, and socialists love misnomers. It's like putting razor blades in halloween candy. Tastes good going down and then really hurts you.
"American Civil Liberties Union". Sounds like it's something patriotic and protecting of freedom, right?
Once in a while they come out on the right side of issue, but they far more harm than good.
