My posting on 'Plan of the Day' will become quite sporadic.  There is just not much to say anymore.  Our society's behavior and that of our government has become so outrageous that what was recently sensational or noteworthy is now just expected.

Congress has become a kindergarden for adults and the Obama administration creates scandals faster than they can be investigated (if anyone cared to really investigate), and queers have taken over the country so what's to talk about?

Police helmet cam: Camper turning from officers when shot

APD helmet camera video footage of a fatal police standoff in the Sandia Foothills on Sunday March 16, 2014. The illegal camper shot by Albuquerque police this week was turning away from officers when they fired at him, according to video released by Chief Gorden Eden on Friday March 21, 2014. The shots come after a confrontation in which the man, identified as 38-year-old James Boyd, tells police he’s going to walk down the mountain with them. Black Flight?

You don't hear the term 'white flight' too much anymore.  For those who are unfamiliar with the term; it described the process of neighborhoods rapidly deteriorating as blacks moved into an area and as subsequent crime levels went up and houses and yards began decaying due to inattention.  Property values would go down and whites would sell out and leave the area.  As property values spiraled down, more blacks could and would buy up the remaining properties.

Now, apparently, the reverse is happening in parts of New York and Spike Lee is pissed.

Malaysia Airlines Flight 370

This sounded hinky to me from the get-go.  There is no way all of the communication devices on this Boeing 777 could fail that quickly unless there was an instantaneous catastrophe, and if there was such an event, the debris would have been seen somewhere along it's flight path.

I immediately decided it had to be a high jacking by terrorists, criminals, or the flight crew.

But here's another alternative theory I find entirely plausible:

Speed Trap Fail

I have no idea if something even close to this really happened, but I hope it did.

Two Texas Highway Patrol Officers were conducting speeding
enforcement on Hwy 77, just south of Kingsville , Tx

One of the officers was using a hand held radar device to check speeding
vehicles approaching the town of Kingsville ... The officers were suddenly
surprised when the radar gun began reading 300 miles per hour and climbing.

The officer attempted to reset the radar gun, but it would not reset and then
it suddenly turned off.

Just then a deafening roar over the Mesquite treetops on Hwy 77 revealed
that the radar had in fact locked on to a USMC F/A-18 Hornet which was engaged
in a low flying exercise near it's Naval Air home base location in Kingsville Tx .

Back at the Texas Highway Patrol Headquarters in Corpus Christi the Patrol
Captain fired off a complaint to the US Naval Base Commander in Kingsville
for shutting down his equipment.

The reply came back in true USMC style:

'Thank you for your letter...

You may be interested to know that the tactical computer in the Hornet had
detected the presence of, and subsequently locked on to, your hostile radar
equipment and automatically sent a jamming signal back to it, which is why it
shut down.

Furthermore, an Air-to-Ground missile aboard the fully armed aircraft had also
automatically locked on to your equipment's location.

Fortunately, the Marine Pilot flying the Hornet recognized the situation for
what it was, quickly responded to the missile system alert status, and was able
to override the automated defense system before the missile was launched to
destroy the hostile radar position, on the side of Hwy 77 So. Of Kingsville .....

The pilot suggests you cover your mouths when cussing at them, since the video
systems on these jets are very high tech.

Sergeant Johnson, the officer holding the radar gun, should get his dentist to
check his left rear molar. It appears that the filling is missing. Also, the snap is broken on his holster.'

Catholic vs Muslim in America

Even if you're not Catholic you will find this eye opening

When the Catholic Church was  founded, there were no hospitals. Today, one out of five people in  this country receive their medical care at a Catholic  hospital.

When the Catholic Church was founded, there were no  schools. Today, the Catholic Church teaches 3 million students a day,  in its more than 250 Catholic Colleges and Universities, in its more  than 1200 Catholic High Schools and its more than 5000 Catholic grade  schools.

Everyday, the Catholic Church feeds, clothes, shelters  and educates more people than any other organization in the  world.

The new Obama Health Mandate  could end all this and the tax payers would have to make up the  loss.

Also, all Catholic adoption services would come to an  end; a human disaster.

There are more than 77 million Catholics  in this country. It takes an estimated 50 million Catholic votes to  elect a president. I am asking all of you to go to the polls in 2014  and be united in replacing all Senators and Reps with someone who will  respect the Catholic Church, and all other Christians and Jews.

**Mr. President, you said, "The USA is not a Christian  Nation". You are wrong.  we are a Christian Nation founded on  Judeo-Christian values allowing all religions in America to Worship  & Practice Freely. Something Islam will never do."
Oh, by  the way, on MUSLIM HERITAGE IN America ...
Have you ever been  to a Muslim hospital?

Have you heard a Muslim  orchestra?

Have you seen a Muslim band march in a  parade?

Have you witnessed a Muslim charity? (except raising money for Al-Qaeda)

Have you  seen Muslims shaking hands with a Muslim Girl Scouts?

Have you  seen a Muslim Candy Striper?*

Have you ever seen a Muslim do  anything that contributes positively to the American way of  life?

House cat in Oregon attacks baby, traps family in bedroom

(Reuters) - A rampaging, 22-pound Oregon house cat with a "history of violence" attacked a baby and trapped a family and their dog in a bedroom at their Portland home before being captured by police, authorities said on Monday.
The Sunday evening incident began when the cat, a black-and-white Himalayan, scratched a 7-month-old baby in the face, according to Portland Police Bureau spokesman Sergeant Pete Simpson.
The baby's father kicked the cat in the backside, which sent it into a rage, and the parents and baby, along with their dog, retreated into a bedroom as the father called police, Simpson said.
Meanwhile, the cat blocked the bedroom doorway and could be heard on the 911 call screeching loudly, Simpson said.
"He said that the cat has a history of violence," Simpson said, referring to the father speaking to the 911 operator.
When officers arrived and entered the house, they saw the cat scurry into the kitchen. After it scrambled atop the refrigerator, officers snared it and put it in a travel-style kennel, Simpson said.
Safely behind bars, the cat was left in the custody of the family, Simpson said. It was not clear what they intend to do with the animal, he said.
The baby suffered some scratches to the face but was not seriously hurt, Simpson said.
While cases of out-of-control dogs are relatively common, Simpson said, he could not recall in his 20 years with the Portland police a similarly ferocious feline.

Sooner Or Later the Repo Man Will Show Up

I've heard talking heads on TV say numerous times regarding the national debt, that Federal debt is not the same as State government debt or personal debt.  Federal debt is not a problem.  What world do they live in?

Federal debt is public debt.  That means they are borrowing and using me and you, and our lives as collateral; it affects our lives and we have nothing to say about except through our votes, and most of us are too stupid or too lazy to manage our own finances much less vote responsibly.

Bottom line?  We're screwed, and we will all pay in a very big way.

Tomorrow's Problem: Paying Interest On US Debt

Intelligent investors don't just look at today's macro environment, they look ahead to tomorrow.
In the short term (think the next few years), the Congressional Budget Office (CBO) has projected the U.S. federal budget deficit will shrink. But, looking toward the end of the decade, U.S. deficits are expected to rise again. The key factors are widely known and in part revolve around the aging population in the U.S., rising health care costs, an increase to federal subsidies for health insurance and perhaps most importantly growing interest payments on federal debt.
Borrowing to pay the interest —that is not a good situation for anyone's balance sheet whether you are a consumer or a government. And, the U.S. government has had the luxury of ultra-low interest rates (thanks to the Federal Reserve since 2008 as the central bank attempted to keep liquidity flowing through the credit frozen and stalled financial system) in recent years, but that is changing now.
Interest rates are already on the rise. As the U.S. Federal Reserve continues to push toward monetary policy normalization, which generally puts the federal funds rate around 4.0%, longer term interest rates are expected to continue to rise as well.
Looking back at action last year, the trend toward higher rates has already started. In 2013, the benchmark 10-year note Treasury yield already saw a fairly sizeable increase from 1.69% in late December 2012, to an intraday high at 3.036% in early January 2014.
Think back to before the global financial crisis. Where were 10-year yields then?
  • In June 2007, the 10-year yield stood at 5.31%.
  • In January 2000, the 10-year yield stood at 6.82%.
  • In July 1996, 10-year yields registered a 7.09% reading
  • In November 1994 a high was seen at 8.16%.
It is so easy to forget that interest rates used to be much higher, substantially higher.
For now, the Fed is tapering its monthly bond purchases and a move toward policy normalization is set into the GPS system. The Fed will be driving the financial system toward higher rates in the months and years ahead.
Let's look at what that could mean for payments on the deficit. First, where could the deficit be in a decade? "If current laws do not change, the CBO puts the deficit up to 4% of GDP in ten years. And the overall debt in the hands of the public, under the same current law assumptions, will equal 79% of GDP in 2024 and be on an upward path," according to Credit Suisse economists.
Simply put, higher market interest rates translate into higher interest payments on outstanding debt payments.
"If the CBO interest rate assumptions came to pass, net interest payments would equal 82% of a projected $1.1 trillion budget deficit in 2024," said Credit Suisse analysts.
"When interest rates rise, debt service expense goes up on all the outstanding debt (the pace depending on the term structure), not just on the incremental debt represented by the deficit.  The increased expense on existing debt is forced upward as it matures and is rolled over on less generous terms," said Credit Suisse.
"That means pledging the tax revenues of the government or diverting them from programmatic goals to pay interest. If the CBO projections came to pass, net  interest  would equal 18 % of tax revenues, 17% of all other federal outlays, and a whopping 82% of the budget deficit ten years from now," according to Credit Suisse.
In plain English? Higher rates mean a larger portion of the government's outlays need to go toward debt repayment and less toward the military, roads, education, and whatever other services the government spends money on.
Could this all become a vicious circle? While the Fed is trying to normalize rates, Credit Suisse warns debt dynamics could force the Fed to shift gears and easy monetary policy again.
"If market interest rates began to put the fiscal position at risk of explosive debt dynamics, economic activity might be weakening noticeably, as would the central bank’s forecast. It could then step in with interest rate cuts or  a new round large-scale asset purchases to offset market pressures. In this scenario, once the Fed begins tightening monetary policy and hiking interest rates, it is unlikely to get very far before it needs to pause or turn around and ease again," Credit Suisse concluded.
Gold investors plan for both today and tomorrow. And, there remain some rocky waters ahead.

Churchill on Islam

How different the world would be today, if the free world had only Roosevelt to rely on during WWII.

We Americans like to think it was we who won WWII.  That's true, to a point; the Allies could not have won the war without America's entry into the war, but had England, under Churchill's leadership not stemmed the tide of Hitler's aggression in the first years, I believe Roosevelt would have allowed Hitler to conquer all of Europe.

Despite the erroneous, and dishonest historical imagery of FDR as a great President, he was a socialist of the worst kind and I believe, secretly admired  Joseph Stalin.

Winston Churchill saw the world with clarity and in 1899 said this of Islam:

"How dreadful are the curses which Mohammedanism lays on its votaries! Besides the fanatical frenzy, which is as dangerous in a man as hydrophobia in a dog, there is this fearful fatalistic apathy. The effects are apparent in many countries, improvident habits, slovenly systems of agriculture, sluggish methods of commerce, and insecurity of property exist wherever the followers of the Prophet rule or live.

A degraded sensualist deprives this life of its grace and refinement, the next of its dignity and sanctity. The fact that in Mohammedan law every woman must belong to some man as his absolute property, either as a child, a wife, or a concubine, must delay the final extinction of slavery until the faith of Islam has ceased to be a great power among men.

Individual Muslims may show splendid qualities, but the influence of the religion paralyses the social development of those who follow it. No stronger retrograde force exists in the world. Far from being moribund,
Mohammedanism is a militant and proselytizing faith.  It has already spread throughout Central Africa , raising  fearless warriors at every step; and were it not that Christianity is sheltered in the strong arms of science, the science against which it had vainly struggled, the civilization of modern Europe might fall, as fell the civilization of ancient Rome ...."

Sometimes it Takes a Crisis to Set Things Right

A plane passed through a severe storm. The turbulence was awful, and things went from bad to worse when one wing was struck by lightning.

One woman lost it completely.
She stood up in the front of the plane and screamed, 'I'm too young to
die,' she cried. Then she yelled, 'If I'm going to die, I want my last minutes on earth to be memorable! Is there anyone on this plane who can make me feel like a WOMAN?'
For a moment, there was silence. Everyone stared at the desperate woman in the front of the plane. Then the man from Texas stood up in the rear of the plane. He was handsome, tall, well built, with dark brown hair and hazel eyes. Slowly, he started to walk up the aisle, unbuttoning his shirt as he went, one button at a time. No one moved.

He removed his shirt. Muscles rippled across his chest.
She gasped...
Then, he spoke...
'Iron this -- and then get me a beer.'

Hillary? Why?

This is 'Hillaryous'.  Asking Hillary supporters about her accomplishments; stops them dead in their tracks.  For that matter, what were Obama's accomplishments when he ran or since completion of his first term?  With liberals it's all about rhetoric, never performance.

The 'Slippery Slope' Has Become a Cliff With Sharp Rocks at the Bottom

Troops based at the Kadena Air Base in Japan know how to party. On Saturday, six gay and straight service members applied some of their finest makeup and lip synced to "I Wanna Dance with Somebody" in what is believed to be first drag queen and king show on an American military base. The show was thrown in support for the base's recently formed OutServe-SLDN chapter, a nonprofit advocacy group for the army's LGBT community.
Navy Lt. Marissa Greene told Stars and Stripes she only expected to sell 75 tickets for the variety show, but ended up selling more than 400 in ten days. The event went through the same approval process as other on-base fundraisers go through, with the only caveat being that it was not allowed to be labeled a "drag show" in its publicity materials. The show was warmly received by spectators, who rocked out to performances by the likes of Manny Nuff and Chocolate Sunrise ("a crowd favorite," the website notes.)
Just a few years ago, performances like these would have been grounds for a possible discharge. The repeal of Don't Ask, Don't Tell has made it possible for events like this to occur. --Jordan Valinsky

Facebook Dumbassedness

The internet and social media in particular has created a vast and dangerous trap for indiscriminate and impetuous people to put themselves, their friends and their family in jeopardy in all kinds of ways:

* Prospective employers can make judgements about you based on what you post, the language you use, and what preferences you have.  Without ever interviewing you they can decide things about you such as your character, judgement, demeanor, honesty, reliability, sincerity, discretion, or intelligence.  The impression they get may or may not be accurate, but you have made it available for them to review and evaluate.

* Some media sites allow the user to remove data they have posted.  Once you post on Facebook it is there forever, even if you close your account.

* Some folks post where they are and what they are doing.  Maybe their friends and family are interested in an hour-by-hour account of their day, but so are potential burglars, stalkers, thieves, rapists, and pedophiles.

*  I don't understand the psychology associated with the use of electronic social media vs face-to-face interaction, but I have observed a marked difference between the two.  With media such as Facebook, the mental firewall between the brain and the mouth disappears.  People will post statements or post offensive links, or use vulgarity which might hurt or offend friends or family, but they never consider that those people will see it on their Facebook page.

Here is a prime example of how this thoughtless social media blabbing can cause harm:

Yahoo:  Call it the biggest Facebook mistake ever. A daughter’s snarky status update has cost her father the $80,000 settlement he won in an age-discrimination lawsuit.

According to the Miami Herald, Patrick Snay, 69, was the headmaster at Gulliver Preparatory School in Miami for several years, but in 2010, the school didn’t renew his contract. Snay sued his former employer for age discrimination and won a settlement of $80,000 in November 2011. The agreement contained a standard confidentiality clause, prohibiting Snay or the school from talking about the case.

However, Snay’s daughter, Dana, now at Boston College and a part-time Starbucks barista, couldn’t resist bragging about the case on Facebook. “Mama and Papa Snay won the case against Gulliver,” she wrote. “Gulliver is now officially paying for my vacation to Europe this summer. SUCK IT.”

We Will Probably Never Know

I have no way of determining the veracity of this video, and it's too late now anyway.  An official disclosure now that the person currently known as Barrack Obama was never legitimately the President of the United States would create a national crisis.  Personally, I think the crisis would be worth the truth.
