I Don't pretend to understand all the complexities of the economy or the markets, but I have a sense or an instinct for danger. Unfortunately, I don't have this same sense for when things are good. I've been able to hoard my savings by bailing out of investments before they went bad, but then I wind up sitting there with my thumb up my butt, left behind when it turns around, and then I'm too scared to get back in.
